Description

Provides intensive psychotherapy that is centered on a trauma-informed model. CITRC clinicians will integrate therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Individual and Group Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to assist clients in decreasing the level of disturbance associated with their traumatic experiences. The primary goal is to reduce post-trauma anxiety and depression, to enhance and develop healthy coping skill and increase awareness of risk factors associated with re-traumatization.
