Eligibility

Must Own and occupy a home in Linn or Benton county that meet the income guidelines outlined, be willing to partner with Habitat to complete Sweat Equity hours, be unable to complete home repairs otherwise due to age, disability, or circumstance, and possess current homeowner's insurance

Required documents

Last 3 months of checking and savings accounts statements, name, mailing address and telephone number of current employer, most recent tax return, proof of child support and/or public assistance (SSI, Social Security, Food Stamps, etc), if you receive them, proof of home ownership (this may include the Deed of Trust or your most recent property tax receipt), proof of current homeowner's insurance

Description

A program that helps homeowners with limited resources complete necessary home improvements. Program will provide qualified homeowners with the materials and labor needed to repair their homes. Sweat Equity hours are asked of the home owners when repairs are being made. A one-time service fee will be assessed, and some repayment is required for major repair projects.
