Description
Child care food program; a federal program administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture through the Nebraska Dept. of Education.
Promotes healthy meals to children in family and childcare homes. Reimburses child care providers for serving nutritious qualifying meals/snacks to children in their home child care through age 12.
Family Service offers training, monitoring, help in meal planning and filing reimbursement for childcare providers.
