Individuals, families, older adults, and people with disabilities who have very low incomes

Description

The Section 8 Rental Certificate Program provides Housing and Urban Development funds to cover some of the cost of rent for eligible individuals and families. Under the program the participant(s) pay 30% of their income toward rent and the Section 8 funds will cover the additional monthly cost.

The Housing Authority Office provides Section 8 housing vouchers for eligible individuals and families and also manages two public housing apartment buildings.
