OPENING DOORS - TERESA SHELTER | OPENING DOORS

Provides a safe place for all women and children of all ages who find themselves homeless due to circumstances beyond their control. The shelter program includes assistance, food, referrals and advocacy with community services. The length of a woman's stay can up to one year in emergency shelter.However, some women can get extensions if a move to permanent housing is imminent or they may move to Maria House or Francis Apartments to continue to work on their goals.

Eligibility

Admission to the shelter is based on the availability of space and interview by staff; Women must be 18 and older; children of all ages are able to stay at the shelter
