Description
Library services available to the community through the Bennett Martin Public Library (headquarters) including assisting library users in locating and utilizing library resources; extends library services in the community through a network of 7 branches and one bookmobile.
Bookmobile and specialized services.
Library collection includes books, magazines, music, movies, Internet access, online information databases and downloadable audio books and e-books.
Additional services include inter-branch loans, inter-library loan service, Youth and Adult Summer Reading Programs, Preschool and Toddler Story time, assistive technology, meeting room use, literacy and language services.
Home outreach by mail provides home delivery of library books to the elderly and individuals who are unable to travel to the library due to a temporary or long-term disability.
Reference / information service includes an online catalog of holdings; research material for public use within the library; information services providing answers to specific questions; assistance for library users with information searches and locating and utilizing library resources. Additional services include an index of local newspapers; extensive online databases for use in library or from home; an inter-library loan service to acquire borrowed material which is not owned by Lincoln City Libraries; and free public access to the Internet.
