Provides temporary assistance for basic needs that may include rent/lot rent; interest on mortgage, utilities-gas, electric, water and food vouchers for clients who are in need. A person cannot be on Subsidized Housing, a student, receiving Social Security, FIP or be a Veteran.

Matches the value of SNAP (the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly known as food stamps) EBT purchases made on fresh fruits and vegetables at participating farmers markets and grocery stores with additional dollars to spend on more fresh fruits and vegetables.

For instance, a family that spends $5 in SNAP benefits on fresh fruits and vegetables at a participating farmers market or grocery store receives an additional $5 in Double Up Food Bucks to purchase more fresh fruits and vegetables at their next shopping trip. SNAP card holders can earn up to $10 of Double Up Food Bucks per shopping trip.

Provides assistance to individuals and families who are facing a crisis situation with food and/or shelter. Homeless prevention services can assist families who are facing eviction or utility disconnection in preventing their family from becoming homeless.

Crisis funds may be available for one month's rent, utilities, or groceries for a short period of time. This assistance is intended for individuals and families who need temporary, one-time assistance to resolve an emergency situation.
