Offers a variety of services to address the full range of housing needs Veterans may have. Services include:

Prevention services such as Supportive Services for Veteran Families that keep Veterans from becoming homeless.

Residential services such as the Health Care for Homeless Veterans Contracted Residential Services or Grant and Per Diem programs provide temporary placement, in the form of emergency or transitional housing, for Veterans who need a place to stay right now.

Permanent housing services such as the Supportive Services for Veteran Families and HUD-VA Supportive Housing, or HUD-VASH, programs connect Veterans to affordable housing in their communities. These services come with either short or long-term rental subsidies, case management, and varying levels of wrap-around supportive services to ensure that Veterans have all the necessary resources to stay housed.

VA also has programs to assist Veterans in the criminal justice system with accessing VA services, help Veterans gain meaningful employment, or take care of their health needs through primary care tailored to the unique access barriers that Veterans experiencing homelessness face.

Provides a family style home designed to empower single, unwed mothers through continued education, vocational & hands on experience. A combination of structured independence, skill training, and life coaching will provide a home for the homeless, and the opportunity to build a stable future for themselves and their children. The program will require moms to participate and complete parenting classes, nutrition, pre-postnatal care, living skills, financing, healthy coping & relationship skills, yoga & art therapy, counseling and bible study.

Each mom will be assigned a case manager who will help develop, design, and implement an individualized "life plan".

Transitional housing apartments for families, single men, and single women.

Transitional housing available to individuals who are LGBTQ+ and experiencing homelessness. Provides up to 24 months of housing with case management and referral services.

Offers the following services for domestic violence victims and their families, advocacy related to medical, civil, and legal needs, 24-hour crisis hotline, counseling, emergency shelter, long term housing options, and safety planning.

Offers a two year program for women with or without children. The women will be assisted in setting developmental goals and working with staff to achieve them.There are enhanced programs such as: case management, life skills, parenting support, financial management, education, and employment skills, community involvement, budgeting, homemaking and one-to-one support.

Services to runaway, homeless, near-homeless and street-dependent youth. Array of services includes shelter, street outreach, transitional living, and maternity group home.

24-hour crisis line for youth needing emergency assistance.

Emergency services include shelter program (short-term), Transitional Living Program (TLP), and Maternity Group Home (MGH) for up to 18 months. A variety of support services are provided for youth while in residence.

Require authorization of parent or guardian within 72 hours of placement for shelter placements and housing services.

Services include housing, all meals, transportation to school and scheduled appointments. Must be involved in daily residential activities including hygiene, meal preparation, scheduling activities, laundry, and facility upkeep.

Offers Christ-centered recovery and long-term transitional living program for women who have lost their housing.

Offers transitional housing and support services for Veterans experiencing homelessness. Specific case managers to assist veterans in finding affordable housing, access to appropriate health care, substance abuse services, and mental health recovery services.

Not an emergency shelter.

Offers safe housing opportunities for women in domestic violence, human trafficking, addiction situations, codependency healing, and addiction rehab. Open ended shelter program for women in crisis. Offers classes, bible studies, job search assistance, and help in locating an apartment and furnishing it.

Also provides Christ-centered individual counseling (online and in person), and a faith-based addiction class.

Open to women and their children who show commitment to being substance-free and investing in themselves long-term are eligible to stay at the 24 -hour shelter.

While at the shelter there is assistance to find employment offering resume assistance, getting signed up for long-term assistance, childcare/parenting assistance from local partners, mental health evaluation, education, and housing within 90- 120 days. The goal is for them to be set up with safe, affordable housing and the support structure needed to begin a successful step forward in their journey.

Short term housing in private furnished apartment. Every family works with a Housing Advocate.

Provides an emergency shelter for young men and young women. The staff work with the youth and their families to solidify permanent housing, education, and an on-going support network. Services are available to both pregnant and/or parenting teens.

Provides outreach, emergency shelter, and transitional living services to homeless young adults and any dependents. Offers outreach services including basic needs, life skills, employment, and education prep/support, transportation, health/wellness, and additional referrals. Participants may also access emergency shelter services in the event that all other shelter options have been exhausted, or an individual is unable to access shelter for any reason.

Provides a safe place for at-risk and homeless youth (ages 16-24) in the Polk County area to connect with services. Services include street outreach, drop-in services, daily meals, emergency beds, an art studio, a computer lab, and mental health counseling options.

The center also offers connections to additional YSS supportive housing programs, such as Lighthouses, Transitional Living Program, and Rapid Re-housing. Supportive services may include educational opportunities, life skills training, financial planning, and counseling to help youth and young adults, including single mothers and their infants, achieve self-sufficiency and progress toward their goals.

Offers a transitional housing program for individuals living with HIV that are homeless. Services available for those in the program case management, emergency food pantry, emergency assistance grants, HIV education. Must be engaged in case coordination with Champaign Urbana Health District and agree to participate in non-medical case management. Residents are expected to be actively seeking permanent housing.
