Supports people and families in need who are dealing with a serious health challenge (cancer diagnosis and/or treatment, major surgery and post-operative support, or other acute health crisis) by providing menus that are nutrient-dense and primarily plant-based with an emphasis on clean, whole, organic, and sustainable ingredients.

Also provides nutrition education, delivered meals, and personal caring support on a weekly basis for 8-12 weeks.

WELLNESS AND HEALTH PROMOTION | FRANKLIN-WILLIAMSON BI-COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT

Provides information and services related to health and wellness topics, including heart health, cholesterol, blood pressure screening, smoking cessation, diabetes, obesity, and physical activity. Offers blood pressure screenings to identify individuals at risk for hypertension-related conditions, cholesterol and triglycerides tests to assess cardiovascular health, and hypoglycemia screenings to detect blood sugar deficiencies.
