Vocational, residential, and day services support and training to persons with developmental disabilities and/or related conditions.

Offers two levels of Supported Community Living Services designed to meet the daily living needs of adults with disabilities and mental illness. These services increase a client's independence and provide a level of relief for family members and caretakers. The level of service is determined by the individual, guardians, case managers, and providers to best suit their needs.

Services may include employment assistance, day habilitation programs, and more.

Provides recreation programs, Special Olympics, weekly programs, and special trips and events for people with special needs or developmental disabilities. Also offers a summer day camp.

Services and supports are based on the identified needs and desires of the person served. Services offered work to enable and enhance intellectual functioning, physical and emotional health and development, language and communication development, cognitive functioning, socialization and community integration, functional skill development, behavior management, responsibility and self direction, daily living skills, self-advocacy skills or mobility.

Offers a day habitation program. Services include therapeutic activities, assistance with activities of daily living, social and health enhancement related services, wellness and nutrition, and mental stimulation.

Services for adults with developmental disabilities include:

- Business Services: Support and training to work in the community.

- Developmental Training: Work skills, recreation, and daily living skills to enhance personal independence and self-esteem.

- Work: Vocational evaluation, job training, regular work, supported employment, and job placement services for persons with disabilities. Community Recycling Center is a part of this program.

- Community Integrated Living Arrangements: Clients who lease or own their own homes may receive support in the areas of budgeting, shopping, cooking, communication with medical providers, and participation in social and recreational events.

- Family Support - Services are provided to support families in caring for their special needs members.

Provides participants of Day Habilitation who are not necessarily seeking employment but are looking for opportunities that enhance community relationships and improve personal goals. Volunteer experiences.

Works to ensure that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve greater independence, personal choice, self-awareness, and wellness opportunities.

Provides skill training, paid work opportunities, community integration and employment to individuals in order to enhance and maintain their independence in community living. The program gives support, assistance and advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Offers supported employment opportunities to individuals who have both the desire to work in an integrated work setting and employment abilities for this setting. The two main goals of these services are to give the individuals the opportunity to earn competitive wages and allow these wages to be earned in an integrated work setting.

Provides vocational training for persons who require a higher level of care than is available through other Hope Haven programs. Individuals receiving services must have a primary diagnosis of a mental disability and must be certified by the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care to be in need of this level of service.

Provides a social program for young adults and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who wish to socialize, learn new skills, share talents, connect with their community, or practice skills needed for greater independence.

Activities may include:
- Gardening
- Arts and crafts
- Special speakers
- Music
- Book reading/discussion
- Games
- Animals
