Provides individual and group crisis management services to adult and child survivors of domestic violence who are not staying in the shelter. Also provides community referrals and advocacy for clients not staying in the shelter. All services are confidential.

Domestic Violence Support Groups

Offered to individuals (men/women) who are convicted of Domestic Abuse Assault within the Sixth Judicial District. Programming includes an intake/orientation session followed by group attendance. There is an alternative program for people with severe mental disorders, medical concerns, or other uncommon factors which require individualized services. Those appropriate for this group include: Court ordered clients, referrals from DHS and those who volunteer.

Services include 24-hour hotline, text line, and email, emergency 24-hour safe shelter for survivors, counseling, support groups, economic empowerment, parenting, conflict management, communication training, and supervised child visitation and safe exchange center for children to visit with their court-mandated, non-custodial parent under supervision by specially trained staff and volunteers.
